PCI DSS Certification
The PCI DSS standard is a jointly written standard by Carte Bleue/Visa and EuroCard/MasterCard networks. It compiles recommendations to ensure the security of confidential information held by companies, such as credit card numbers. We partnered up with Strip as our payment gateway.
3D-Secure
This new security standard aims to authenticate the holder of a credit card during online payments. It is known as 'Verified by Visa' for Visa and 'MasterCard SecureCode' for MasterCard. Its principle is based on verifying information known only to the cardholder (similar to the 4-digit code) and will be requested by their bank during web transactions.
Protection of Your Bank Data
Since the credit card number is entered on a secure page hosted by the bank, it is not known by UpSalt. Your banking information is encrypted (using TLS technology). Your credit card number will never be fully printed on invoices.
