Walk-in guest

A guest or party that arrives without a reservation and asks to be seated from current availability.

Why it matters

How walk-in guest affects a service

Walk-ins are part of real demand and should be recorded alongside reservations so occupancy, table status and guest history remain accurate. They may also be offered a waitlist position.

Example

In practice

A party of two arrives at 19:15 without booking and is assigned an available bar table.
