Booking window

The period before a service during which a guest is allowed to make a reservation.

Why it matters

How booking window affects a service

Opening and closing windows control how far ahead inventory is exposed and how close to service online bookings remain available. Different services, tables or experiences may need different rules.

Example

In practice

A venue can open weekend bookings 60 days ahead and close online reservations 30 minutes before each service.
